Muay Thai

Muay Thai, also called Thai Boxing, is a martial art and a combative sport characterized by its concentration on stand-up and clinch striking. It is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs” or “The Science of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight points of contact.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art, combat sport, and a self defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. BJJ teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique most notably by applying joint-locks and choke holds to defeat the other person. Live drilling plays a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance (especially in competition) in relation to progress and ascension through grades/belts.

Wrestling

The TQSJ Wrestling Club is an advanced class for  experienced wrestlers. These training sessions consist of folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman disciplines.

Fitness

Take your workout to the next level! This program  will shock your body with intense training that includes both cardio and strength training moves along with suspension TRX training. If you like quick paced workouts and intense circuit training including uncommon movements and exercises to build your body from the inside out, this class is for you. The variety of exercises and equipment will make everyday a new challenge!!!

Cardio Kickboxing

This is a high intensity class that is designed to  develop strength and endurance. It is perfect for beginners and will also help advanced students perfect their technique and cardio. Cardio Kickboxing is a full body workout that incorporates striking and cardio circuits. It is non-stop sweating for one hour!

Boxing

This is a beginner and intermediate class dedicated  to teaching the art of boxing. Boxing is the art of striking, but not getting hit! Plenty of footwork with striking as well as head movement and defense.

Quest Kids

Quest Kids includes a combination of Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu, Muay Thai, Submission Wrestling, Wrestling, MMA,Fitness and games for students 4-11 years old. Kids learn self discipline, dedication, persistence, and best of all……they GAIN CONFIDENCE!

Sparring

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills, from a mixture of martial arts and non-martial arts traditions. This class teaches the use of both striking and grappling techniques. MMA Sparring requires coach’s approval to attend.

No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu/Submission Wrestling

Submission wrestling, also called No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, is a general term describing the aspect of martial arts and combat
sports that focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the goal of
obtaining a submission using submission holds. The sport brings
together techniques from folkstyle wrestling, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, judo, and sambo. This class covers the basic holds, positions, takedowns, and escapes associated with submission wrestling.
